Weedon Old Schoolroom is a Registered Charity, number 1073035.

Its aims are to provide a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Weedon in Buckinghamshire without distinction of political, religious, or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupations, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The Old Schoolroom charity holds a full repairing and insuring lease of the village hall from the Church of England Oxford Diocese for 99 years commencing in 1998 at a rental of £10 per annum.

The charity's Trustees consist of 7 trustees elected from the residents of Weedon and 2 trustees appointed by the Parochial Church Council of Hardwick-with-Weedon.

The Old Schoolroom Charity does not receive any regular grant support from government or other organisations. It is self-supporting, using its hiring income and some local fundraising from events to maintain and improve the hall for users.
