is a unitary council responsible for many of the day to day local services that affect people. These duties include housing, local planning, waste collection and recycling, education, libraries, social services, roads, transport.

Recycling and waste centres

For other items eg. wood, metal, large domestic appliances, electricals, batteries, furniture, they can be taken to a household waste and recycling centre. The closest to Weedon is in Rabans Lane, Aylesbury. You can apply for large items to be collected (fee payable).

Postal services

There is a post box opposite the Old Schoolroom in the High Street and Aston Abbotts Road near the East End turn.
 
Collections at 5.10pm Monday - Friday and 10am on Saturday. No collection on Sunday or Bank Holidays.

The nearest Post Office is in the garage in Whitchurch.
