10.30 am to 12 noon The Old Schoolroom
Come along for freshly brewed coffee and a range of teas, plus cakes home-made by our talented team of Weedon bakers. All proceeds towards the upkeep of the hall - a registered charity. Bring books you've read to exchange in our Book Swap.

Easter Monday 6 April 2026 WVA Egg Rolling, Decorated Eggs and Colouring Competitions
11 am outside the Five Elms
The traditional Easter Monday fun event for all the family.
Hard boil and decorate an egg (open to all ages) and bring that along plus an egg to roll down the hill. Prizes for the winners in all age categories.
And, for children 12 and under, choose one of the pictures below to colour in, write your name & age on the back and bring it along to be judged. If you need it printing out, please let us know and we'll drop a copy round to you.

Saturday 11 April 2026 WVA Village Clear-Up
9.30 am outside the Old Schoolroom
Meet outside the Schoolroom with gloves and suitable footwear - wellies are best! We will supply litter pickers and bags, or bring your own.
For those who help there will be a coffee/tea and bacon roll (or vegetarian option) at the end.
The more the merrier and we get done faster. But if you can't make ithe group session, you can do your bit at any time when you're out and about in the village.
This is always a great start to our Best Kept Village campaign for 2026. [Judging is in June and early July.]

Tuesday Club 14 April 2026 Talk on "The 66 Men of Grandpoint 1914-18"
8pm The Old Schoolroom
An inspiring story told by Mrs Liz Woolley.
Tuesday Club has been arranging varied and interesting talks and presentations by experts in their field - history, nature, travel, antiques and more - for 50 years. April's is the first session of the club's new year.
Everyone is welcome to all dates with no pre-booking required. £5 for non-members. Or just £20 for the whole 12-month season. Tea and coffee with delicious biscuits and a raffle round off the evening.

Saturday 6 June 2026 WVA Summer Ball
7 pm to midnight at Weedon Lodge
The marquee, live band, silent disco and outside bar service have been booked. The food committee has started planning the menu, so we are all set for a wonderful evening.
We have just 18 places left. Tickets £60 each. Book a full table or individual places. £2.50 per person discount for a full table (10 or 12) booked and paid for by the end of March.

WEEDON PARISH COUNCIL
Parish council meetings will normally be held in the Old Schoolroom. General meetings are on the third Tuesday of every other month at 7.30pm. The next general meeting is on Tuesday 21 May 2026.
Meetings are advertised with at least 3 working days' notice on the main noticeboard and the Forthcoming Parish Council Meetings webpage.

The Weedon charities make grants of financial assistance to villagers in December. However, additional grants will be considered at any time for an emergency need. Please apply for EDUCATIONAL purposes (Dr John Bridle's Charity) or GENERAL NEED (Lord Fortescue's and Dr John Bridle's).
