Friday 5 July Schoolroom Cafe
10.30 to 12 noon The Old Schoolroom Weedon
The monthly community cafe with funds going towards the upkeep of the hall. Come along for freshly brewed cafetiere coffee, a range of teas and home-made cakes from Weedon's talented bakers. Book Swap -- bring along books you have read and swap them for others. Everyone welcome. Takeaway available for cakes and bakes.

8pm The Old Schoolroom
Mr Stephen Hearn of Tring Market Auctions will discuss items we bring in. Check your attic for heirlooms! Tea and coffee afterwards. Non-members welcome (£5) with no pre-booking needed.

Thursday 11 July Moth and Butterfly Talk for Wild Weedon
7.30pm The Old Schoolroom
A talk by Nick Bowles, Chairman of the Upper Thames Branch of the Butterfly Conservation Group. This local expert will talk about the moths and butterflies that are found in the area and the plants that we should be planting in our gardens to encourage these species. Everyone welcome - free entry.

Deliver your entries in the morning. Come along to see the prizewinners in the afternoon. Auction of produce.
Sunday 8th September Party in the Park

WEEDON PARISH COUNCIL
Parish council meetings will normally be held in the Old Schoolroom. General meetings are on the third Tuesday of every other month at 7.30pm. The next general meeting is on Tuesday 16 July 2024. Meetings are advertised with at least 3 working days' notice on the main noticeboard and the Forthcoming Parish Council Meetings webpage.

Weedon Coronation Celebration Jazz Picnic May 7th 2023
We all had an amazing afternoon on the Park enjoying a 17-piece jazz band accompanied by picnics, Five Elms street food and the WVA's tea and cakes. The celebration cake was a tour de force - home made in Weedon, thanks to Lizzy and Charlotte.

The Weedon charities make grants of financial assistance to villagers in December. However, additional grants will be considered at any time, particularly in the current coronavirus situation.Please apply for EDUCATIONAL purposes (Dr John Bridle's Charity) or GENERAL NEED (Lord Fortescue's and Dr John Bridle's).
