The Parish Council and other local organisations are seeking to co-ordinate and provide help to Weedon residents in need due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

 IF You or your family are self-isolating or feel vulnerable or are otherwise stuck at home and would like any support in the way of shopping or other errands such as picking up prescriptions or just a friendly phone call;

OR You are under 60, healthy and willing to carry out tasks for others or to provide reassurance by phone;

Francis and Nicolette have kindly agreed to co-ordinate the effort to ensure that all necessary help is given to those in our village who need it.

Additional Services/Information

We will bring you new helpful information as we get it. Let us know what you hear, too. So far:

·        The Five Elms (01296 641439) is producing a take-away menu from next week. 

·        Howe & Co Fish and Chips are, we believe, still intending to visit Weedon on a Wednesday evening.

·        We know some local businesses are still offering food deliveries and we will bring you details as we get confirmations.  Parrotts at Whitchurch (01296 641207) will take orders and payment over the phone for delivery.

·        CofE and Methodist church services in the local area are cancelled.

·        Weedon Village Association has cancelled all upcoming events.

·        Check with your class provider for information on classes in the Old Schoolroom. The April café and the AGM will not go ahead.

The Weedon charities make annual grants of financial assistance to villagers in December.
