In March there are two exciting evening functions in  the Old Schoolroom. On Saturday 14th March is a Murder Mystery evening themed around a wedding reception with buffet supper (see poster here). A talented and experienced amateur group of actors is coming to Weedon by special arrangement.

And on Friday 20th March the WVA presents its Spring Quiz Night with questionmaster Bob Gregory and homemade chilli (see poster here). Always a favourite fixture, this quiz has a friendly competitive atmosphere which everyone can enjoy.

Tuesday Club takes place throughout the year on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, and the Schoolroom Cafe is every 1st Friday. The Five Elms holds special themed evenings on a regular basis.

The Parish Council will implement an Emergency Action Plan in the event of severe weather or other emergency incident. Make sure your email address and/or phone numbers are registered with Joanna Rose to get updates (see above). Meanwhile, please help by checking on vulnerable neighbours in an emergency situation.

The Weedon charities make annual grants of financial assistance to villagers in December. However, additional grants will be considered at any time. Please apply for EDUCATIONAL purposes (Dr John Bridle's Charity) or GENERAL NEED (Lord Fortescue's and Dr John Bridle's). Please click here to find out more.
