As usual, the Weedon Village Association is arranging a free Children's Christmas Party for village children aged 8 years and under in the Old Schoolroom on Friday 20th December. If you have children of this age and have not yet had an invitation, please let the WVA know.

Over-65s have to wait until January for their seasonal New Year Dinner - but it's always worth waiting for! It's on Saturday 18th January, again in the Old Schoolroom. This three-course dinner with aperitifs, cheese course and coffee, plus entertainment and wine is completely free for older Weedon residents and their partners. Contact the WVA if you are eligible (you or your partner over 65) and have not yet received an invitation.

Surpluses on the WVA's functions throughout the year go to pay for these fantastic community events. Don't miss out if you qualify to attend.

Tuesday Club takes place throughout the year on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, and the Schoolroom Cafe is every 1st Friday. The Five Elms holds special themed evenings on a regular basis.

In 2019 we achieved a score of 85 points in the Tindall Cup for previous years' winners, which was won by Chalfont St Giles with 90.

The Weedon charities make annual grants of financial assistance to villagers in December. However, additional grants will be considered at any time. Please apply for EDUCATIONAL purposes (Dr John Bridle's Charity) or GENERAL NEED (Lord Fortescue's and Dr John Bridle's). Please click here to find out more.
