WEEDON ORGANISATIONS AND VENUES
WEEDON PARK is open again for use in strict accordance with government guidelines for social distancing and meeting in groups outdoors. A full risk assessment by Weedon Parish Council, to be reviewed weekly, can be seen here.
WEEDON CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND closed
WEEDON OLD SCHOOLROOM closed
WEEDON CHAPEL and HARDWICK CHURCH closed
FIVE ELMS PUB AND RESTAURANT closed for eating and drinking "in", but daily food takeaway/re-heat service by prior arrangement.
Following the government announcement on Tuesday 23rd June of further easing of lockdown restrictions from 4th July, all organisations will be reviewing their operations.
VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUP
The Parish Council and other local organisations formed a Community Support Group in response to the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.
Francis and Nicolette Habgood are still co-ordinating the effort to ensure that all necessary help is given to those in our village who need it, even as we ease out of lockdown.

WEEDON CHARITIES - APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE
The Weedon charities make annual grants of financial assistance to villagers in December. However, additional grants will be considered at any time, particularly in the current coronavirus situation.Please apply for EDUCATIONAL purposes (Dr John Bridle's Charity) or GENERAL NEED (Lord Fortescue's and Dr John Bridle's).
